- Advising employers regarding union applications for certification to the London Labour Relations Board (OLRB)
- Advising employers regarding union/employee complaints to the OLRB in the certification process
- Advising and representing employers at all stages of the grievance process, including drafting responses to grievances
- Advising employers regarding the interpretation of collective agreements
- Acting as employer spokesperson, as part of a negotiating committee, in the collective bargaining process, including drafting a wide range of collective agreement language
- Representing employers in the strike/lockout process
- Representing employers whose employees are not permitted to strike, including the preparation of arbitration briefs
- Acting as employer nominee on three person Boards of Arbitration
